On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Dulcimer called 'And I Turned As I Had Turned As A Boy' and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Stereo Pressing on the MEGA RARE Nepentha label!!!! THIS IS A SERIOUSLY RARE LP AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS NEPENTHA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Nepentha UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6437 003 on the 1st Press Nepentha label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Dulcimer at their best!!!! Any fan of Dulcimer, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The only INCREDIBLY minor problems with the labels is a MEGA faint TINY patch of wear on one side (on the white part so virtually INVISIBLE), and a MEGA faint yellowed spot. The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 long scuff type line on one side (NON sounding), a few light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK!!!! It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with only a VERY few clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle!!!! Curiously on Side 1 ONLY (NONE on Side 2) - there is some low level surface noise - though it is only really noticeable between tracks and on the run on grooves - and virtually lost in the music!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has only slight roughening to the edges (NOT through the colour), barely ANY spinal wear (ALL spinal words are FULLY readable), only a VERY few creases (Cover is VERY flat looking), and only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour)!!!! The cover also has some typical slight rubbing to the front/back of the cover - but there is NO heavy ringwear!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, only VERY slight rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO yellowing!!!! There is NO splits, NO rips, NO sticker tears, NO tears and only a TINY virtually invisible name on the reverse of the cover. The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE LP INDEED AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
