DULCIMER - " AND I TURNED AS I HAD TURNED AS A BOY... " Nepentha (6437003) 1971.
Very rare, original UK 1st pressing of the 1971 folk/prog LP by Dulcimer.
First pressing Identifiable by the white and blue Nepentha label, the gatefold sleeve with lyrics inside, the cat number and "VO PRICE CODE" on the rear sleeve and the matrix numbers...

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EX- (No really deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Average spindle trails on the label. A bright grading lamp reveals quite a few faint paper scuffs and a few light/shallow surface marks, although none of the visible marks translate into loud clicks or clunks. That said, this record does suffer some light surface noise before and inbetween tracks which is sometimes audible in in quieter intros and outros of songs. Also, as the record plays out there are a few sporadic faint clicks across both sides... more background clicks than loud jarring ones, but fair to point out and worth condsidering when placing bids. Beyond these small imperfections, the songs actually play very well - loud, strong and clear. This record has certainly not been over used or abused, fairly well played but also well cared for. If you can't afford or find a mint example of this rare record and you're not expecting CD levels of cleanliness (and sterility) this would make a good playing copy for someone out there.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G- (Not destroyed, but well worn. No big rips creases or defacing. But is well worn around the edges and corners, has some other scrapes and a couple of dirty marks on the front cover, plus a tiny sticker tear from a previous price label. Both covers also have light handling/thumb creases - see photos for further clarification)
