DULCIMER - And I Turned As I Had Turned As A Boy
A lovely copy of this 1971 UK 1st press acid folk gem - gorgeous art work original outer sleeve and excellent stereo sound quality throughout
A solid very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl (some would grade as "excellent" I am sure) - flat and displaying a beautiful jet black sheen - it is only with close scrutiny under a bright light that some small and extremely faint paper scuff/grazes can be can be identified : obviously nothing feelable, appearing to be purely superficial and certainly nothing to impinge upon the start-to-finish excellent stereo audio quality. Excellent (EX) condition labels : close inspection under a bright light reveals some small and very faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, but no other blemishes at all. Very good plus (VG+) condition outer sleeve. Firm edges with just a few tiny "nicks" on each and a little more noticeable sporadic mild scuffing on the bottom front edge but nothing nasty. The spine is rigid with a few tiny nicks also though the spine text remains nicely intact and still legible. Each corner remains a nicely defined right angle with a little mild rubbing on each (slightly more so on the bottom corners) and the inside of the gatefold is excellent with just some occasional and very minor storage/handling surface abrasions towards the top and bottom edges. There is no cardboard creasing, the opening edges remain firm with no fraying, and all art work, colours, text and photos remain in great condition. Do take a close look at my photos...it's hard to believe that this gatefold is 55 years old! Excellent (EX) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, distortion or interference, or background crackle and the only clicking I detected were two very light clicks at the beginning of "Lisa's Song" though close inspection revealed no obvious cause. Crystal clear stereo sound quality throughout with great tone and each and every track remaining a great listen...such an underrated and, at the time of it's original release, "under the radar" album. There is complete silence on both sides during the run-in's which is always a sure sign that the record has been well looked after and not overplayed. Comes with original poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" inner sleeve - correctly dated with no edge splits, no tears or top edge fraying, just a couple of very mild creases, and only the hint of some very minor age discolouration towards the edges. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A rare and sought after 1971 UK 1st press acid folk gem - lovely gatefold, excellent stereo sound quality and a valuable addition to any vinyl folk collection.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
