Description
This is a MID 1980s JACKSONVILLE PRESS 3RD ISSUE CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. LP titled 'Rio' from New Wave synth-pop favorites Duran Duran. It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number ST-12211, with the original factory shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover and with the original hype sticker still affixed to the shrinkwrap over the front cover. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original custom inner sleeve with song lyrics, album credits, and color photo.

Technical condition of record is a high VG+ with one small visible surface mark and some other very light sleeve marks, none of which can be felt - The one visible surface mark does cause a very few light ticks. Condition of cover is also a high VG+ with the original factory shrinkwrap with hype sticker still surrounding the cover, and with the only real flaw being a little wear on the corners and along the right hand open edge. Custom inner sleeve has splits in all three dges which I have repaired with clear tape.
This LP would make a nice addition to any 1980s New Wave synth-pop or Duran Duran record collection!
