BL 7594, original first issue 1964 UK Philips mono record labels.

A first issue 1964 UK mono copy in original condition, featuring:

1. ‘Dusty Springfields’, original UK 'debut' LP, from 1964,

2. original 1964 UK 'Philips' mono record labels,

3. each of the record labels feature a ‘textured’ surface and a ‘ridge’, 5mm from the record labels outer edge,

4. a first issue 1964 UK sleeve made of the period, quality ‘thick / heavy’ card,

5. comes with its original period, ‘Philips’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The front laminate is in near perfect condition, super glossy and free from any ‘scuffing’ or ‘indentations’. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained clean and sharp. The rear of the sleeve has remained an excellent clean white for its age. The rear of the sleeve features the alternative, ‘pasted over’ panel rather than a tri ‘flip back’ design, ie 'fold over' edges. There are NO tears, splits, stickers, sticker residue to the sleeve. On the rear, to the top right corner there are the small numbers, ‘33/1’ written in blue pen and on the rear some small ‘ticks’ written in pencil against some of the track listing.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original period plain white ‘Philips’, 'British Patents No etc’, text inner sleeve. An excellent clean, white original inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a 10mm tear around one side of the ‘die cut hole’ and a 20mm tear on the other side, around the ‘die cut hole’, and a very slight split to one of the side edges.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent condition. The record is made from the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix is: side one - 632325 1L 1 – 420 11 22, and side two - 632325 2L 1 – 420 110 321,

The mother / stampers, are: n/a,

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent+, I did hear a few ‘ticks’ on track five. Side two, also plays excellent+. The record plays with a full powerful, clear period 'mono' sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent+ condition. On side two, the letters ‘OT1’ are embossed around the spindle hole. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
