... fantastic first press stereo export Decca SXL 2289 with ED1 UK matrixnumbers: ZAL-5172-2E and ZAL-5173-1E !!
rare first press vinyl LP released 1961 in Germany on glossy(!) black/gold DECCA stereo label using the UK stampers with deep groove and catalognumber SXL 2289.
Note that this is a rare ED1 export press with -2E / -1E UK stampers ...
Beautiful cover, complete with original innersleeve, and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - perfect!
Famous performance by Istvan Kertesz conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality, same as the UK wideband Decca SXL 2289 counterpart pressing... see photos.
