Description

This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


Recording 1971 EMI stereo ASD 2751 Dvorak Cello Concerto in B Minor & “Silent Woods”. Adagio for Cello & Orchestra.  Performed by Jacqueline Du Pre / Chicago Symphony Orchestra / Daniel Barenboim.


Original UK stereo label (EMI ASD series 3rd label known as "1st dog in stamp label.).

In original inner sleeve. Sleeve is a flip back  sleeve. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are 2YEA 4183-5G and 2YEA 4184-5G. The date code on the back cover in the bottom right hand corner is 7111 TPS. 


Grading

Sleeve in Excellent plus condition, slight  creasing in places but no rips or tears. Inner in excellent condition, some light browning to ages due to ageing . Would visually the vinyl as near Mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips or jumps just little crackles in places.


Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
