Dwight Druick was a busy session man and composer in Montreal's 70s & 80s musical scene, appearing on several albums with little fanfare, although he recorded 3 monster long plays with himself as the headliner or co-headliner.......the under-rated and criminally overlooked Druick-Lorrange * (with Kirk Lorrange) in 1975, 1976's Minuit / Midnight (with Philippe Vyvial), .....and this little gem,Tanger, in 79.

Bluesy modern soul & funk with a slight jazzy feel that deepens the overall sound spaciously.....a bit into the territory of some great soulful works by the likes of Kenny Rankin, and Michael Franks.....Superb !

Dwight Druick (guitar, vocals),  Daniel Barbe (Eclipse) handling piano & synthesizers,  Boule Noire's George Thurston (conga, percussion),  Mark Eagan (bass),  Robert Stanley (Harmonium, VEBB) & Joe Caro on guitars,  Sylvain Coutu (Pollen, Bregent) on drums, and several others joining in giving this album a full sound.
