Description
DYLAN "BLONDE ON BLONDE" DLP
CBS 66012 - 1ST press G/F UK '66 ORIG. with flipbacks on inner sleeves, spelling error on label, and "33" on labels instead of "33 + a third". Matrix nos.: A1/B1/C1/D1.
"Blonde On Blonde on top of the label and playing speed: 33
Rough orange CBS labels,
Laminated gatefold sleeve with inner flipbacks and large Stereo-logo on front
Inside the sleeve track B2 appears as: 'Stuck Inside of Mobile With Thee' [see pic 5] - see more: https://www.discogs.com/Bob-Dylan-Blonde-On-Blonde/release/3519201
Please note: the 2 discs have many marks, mostly light, but the discs played fine on my system with no jumps or skips at all, and with a minimum of background noise throughout, possibly due to the discs being very thick vinyl as they were prone to be in the UK back in '66, when even much battered discs miraculously played as if there was nothing untoward - the only crackles I could hear were in between some tracks, so I've marked the discs as "vg-". The cover has a split in the spine, as depicted in pic no. 11, and cosmetic ageing, but nothing really serious apart from the spine - the original CBS inner sleeves also have splits, but white inners are provided. There is a name written on the disc labels, and inside the cover. Sounds awful, but please remember this item is over 50 years old, and unique as the very 1st UK stereo pressing of this iconic classic album, with A1 - D1 matrices, and a version in a better condition would be far more expensive, and, amazingly, it played fine when I tested it. A full refund guarantee is in place anyway if things are too bad for the buyer.
disc: vg- signs of use but no deep feelable scratches [Record Collector gradings used throughout]
G/f cover: good signs of ageing
