Dead wax etching side 2: "For louE and Dave" Info Except for 2 songs from a 1964 Dylan concert, this album contains the live concert called S.N.A.C.K (The Students Need Athletics, Culture & Kicks concert) organized by Bill Graham to benefit San Francisco city schools. The band members for the SNACK concert were a 1 gig only super group composed of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Tim Drummond, and Ben Keith. Tim Drummond (guitar & bass) and Ben Keith (pedal steel) were musicians who frequently played & recorded with Neil Young. 'Who killed Davy Moore?' and 'All I Really Want to Do' are the 2 songs from Dylan's Philharmonic Hall concert of October 31, 1964. This Dylan-only material is an interesting listen and funny. Bob's rap prior to 'Davy Moore' is pure Dylan who among other things states the song is not about boxing and is but a bunch of words he put together. Before 'All I Really' the audience interaction in shouting out various song titles to be played is hysterically funny. Condition This is about the most smashing slab of vinyl I've ever seen inpart aided by the shinny-as-a-mirror full luster & gorgeous pristine NM appearance of the splatter vinyl when viewed in bright room light. The vinyl indeed looks fabulous in the photos though these photos only hint at how gorgeous the splatter effect is when viewed in person. When played on a sensitive system, side 1 plays in close to NM- condition, and side 2 in VG+ condition (some mostly light-ish surface noise in the middle of the side). Only when held & examined rigorously close to a bright light source will some non-feelable hairlines be noticed making the visual condition (side 1/2) in VG+/EX. The album cover has light wear, mostly scuffing and some darkening around the edges of the plain white cover. Shipping The actual ship fee may vary slightly from the fee calculated by ebay. MINT refers to an LP that is factory sealed. NM is the highest grade given to an open LP and album cover. A NM visual grade indicates an LP that is not sealed AND visually appears pristine/unplayed. A NM play grade indicates an LP plays exactly as or is extremely close to how a particular album would play if it was just unsealed. To determine visual grades, LPs are positioned close to a bright light which indicates flaws not noticeable in other lighting conditions. Payment Terms Buyer must contact the Seller within 3 days after the auction closes. If Paypal is used, payment must be received by the Seller within 3 days after auction closes, or within 10 days when other payment options are used. Should payment not be received, Seller reserves the right to cancel the auction and ebay might file an unpaid bidder action. Acquiring LPs and creating ads takes a lot of time & expense, so please be a responsible bidder. Packaging LPs ship properly packaged to eliminate all but the most severe abuse. For used LPs, insulation is placed inside boxsets and single LPs are re-sealed to prevent movement. Instead of single-walled mailers, odd-sized albums such as some boxsets ship in a significantly robust double-walled box and with the albums insulated from the inside of the mailer via a type of double boxing. For single LPs, the most robust LP mailers are used. These mailers were selected after rejecting many alternative LP mailers that did not meet critical requirements for rigid protection to the mailer's corners. Excellent packaging—though the supplies, included in the ship fee, sometimes cost more than typical. Ship Fees (USA Buyers) Delivery Confirmation is included in the ship fee. For purchases over $100 a small additional amount will be added to the automatically generated ship fee which adds protection against loss or damage. Shipment within the USA via Priority Mail, which some feel incurs less mischief while in transit and has a significantly quicker delivery time, is available as an extra cost option. Ship Fees (Non-USA Buyers) (1) The lesser priced First Class International Mail ship method is available as a courtesy to Buyers but use of this service does not include any protection against loss or damage. By selecting this service, a buyer agrees that the seller is not liable for any loss, damage, or other mishap that may occur to items sent via this service.
(2) When a buyer wants the assurance of protection against the full cost of their purchase, the Buyer must use the Priority Mail International ship method and use a small additional fee should the insurance level that comes with Priority Mail not cover the cost of their purchase. As this level varies by country the total ship fee will be determined at the auction’s completion, or interested Buyers can email Seller for the actual ship fee. ALTERNATELY, Registered Mail can be used as it provides a more secure delivery method relative to First Class and includes some insurance against loss or damage, typically $40 to $70 dependent upon destination. Registered Mail costs $11.50 plus the cost of the First Class International Mail ship fee.
(3) Due to postal issues, shipments to Mexico, Italy, India, and Malaysia must use either Priority Mail International, or Registered Mail which is an $11.50 add-on option to First Class Mail International. For those customers, the actual ship fee will be determined at the auction’s completion.
