LOW START AND NO RESERVE

This is an all round TOP COPY of what is now the rarest UK Dylan LP. This is a genuine first press copy with A1,B1,C1,D1 matrix endings. It is COMPLETE with the correct original orange CBS advertising inner sleeves. The labels are rough textured orange with '33' printed on them (see photo). The sleeve is the correct fully laminated gatefold with inner folding flipbacks and 9 photographs (see photo). So this is the complete correct original LP but to make it even better the condition is superb.

The condition of this LP is really excellent, graded according to RC criteria. (see below).  I am not a dealer but I have been collecting for 40 years and I appreciate receiving LPs that match their description- checkout my feedback.

VINYL: Side 1 is visually EX in appearance with only the faintest of hairline, paper-type marks and two light scuffs which can only be seen under bright angled light. Side 2 is EX to EX+ with a few light hairlines only. Side 3 is again EX with hardly any signs of play. Side 4 has very faint hairlines but again very few in number. Altogether this LP had very light and careful play before I obtained and I have treated it with extreme delicacy on the occasions I have played it.

SOUND: It is hardly possible to fault the sound quality. There is some extremely light and hardly detectable background presence in a few places but really I would have to grade the LP as close to perfect.

LABELS: All 4 labels are EX+ in appearance with hardly any signs of use at all and no marking or writing.

COVER: The cover of this LP is superb. It is flat and sharp with no creases at all. The edges have no wear at all and the opening edges are razor sharp. The corners are sharp with little rubbing and the spine is straight and unworn and not flattened. The internal flipbacks are perfect. I would have to grade this cover as EX if not better. The only detraction is that the original owner has written the track times against the titles (see photo).

INNER SLEEVES: These are the original mide-60's CBS inners and they are EX with no splits tears or fraying.

Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.
