Description
Dad Blackard’s Moonshiners- Suzanna Gal (long scratch) / Sandy River Belle -Victor 21130
One of the bands that recorded in the Bristol Sessions along with Jimmy Rodgers and The Carter Family. The Shelor Family- Joe Blackard- Dad Blackard’s Moonshiners. These bands were made up of Joe Blackard, his daughter Clarice, Jesse Shelor and Pyrhus Shelor. From Meadows of Dan, VA.
Record is in used condition with some scuffs and scratches.
This current lot that I am listing all came out of a Rockbridge County, WV estate. Overall, not in the best of shape but there is some good old country, sacred, race and old-time music among them so I will offer them with low starting bids. Please see the pictures for condition. My camera really highlights the record surface and seems to show every little scratch. You should be able to gauge the overall condition very accurately. Please ask questions if you need more specifics. I can only describe how they look, I have no way to play them.
I will combine shipping and pack them carefully. Media mail is selected as the postal method to save you money on shipping but this can sometimes be a bit slower than regular post. No international shipping.
