Description
BBC transcription service Dads Army Episodes 14, 15, and 20 to 33inc.
These are an inheritance find, I do not know how they will play i have no equipment to test play them on. On visual inspection using the Ebay grading scale the condition in my opinion is between good and worn, some look to be in the good category some not so good, individual record description is below. They all need a good clean.
Episode14, Don't Forget the Diver. Numerous scuffs stratches across tracks, see picture
Episode 15, If the Cap Fits. Some scratches/scuff Mark's, one small one looks deep. See picture
Episode 20, Univited Guest. Some scratches/scuff Mark's see picture
Episode 21, A Brush With The Law. Some Scratches. Sleeve is ripped
Episode 22, A Soldier's Farewell. Some Scratches.
Episode 23, Brain versus Brawn. A few Scratches.
Episode 24, War Dance. Occasional mark.
Episode 25, Mum's Army. Occasional mark plus one more obvious, see picture
Episode 26, Getting the Bird. No obvious defects
Episode 27, Don't Fence me In. No obvious defects
Episode 28, The King was in his Counting House. No obvious defects
Episode 29, When did you last see your Money. No obvious defects
Episode 30, Fallen Idol. No obvious defects
Episode 31, A Wilson -- Manager. No obvious defects
Episode 32, All is safely Gathered In. No obvious defects
Episode 33, The day the Balloon Went Up. No obvious defects
As the number of photos is limited I have restricted those individual records shown to be the poorer quality records.
The general condition of the record sleeves is as would be expected considering their age.
Please study the photos carefully to make sure you are aware of the condition, i have no deck to test play them on.
I have had experience in the past of buyers expectations being far and beyond reality. Please do not expect pristine straight out the package perfect records they are dated 1976, 45 years old probably been played numerous times possibly mistreated, but they are an original collectable memory of a fine radio and TV comedy. I have not identified any reason why they will not play however I am unable to provide an assessment of the sound reproduction.
