Description
Dafos Mickey Hart, Airto, Flora Purim, audiophile Reference Recording RR-12 45rpm Near Mint condition.
Part of my personal collection, cover is near mint, album is near mint. Released 1983 Rolling Thunder
productions. Keith Johnson recording enigineer. "Master tapes were made on Mr. Johnson's unique
focus-gap analogue recorder, and were transferred to disc by Doug Sax directly from it. We chose
the non-standard speed of 45 rpm in order to gain extra dynamic range and high frequency resolution:
i.e. to more closely duplicate the sound of the master tapes. Plating of the original lacquers was done
within hours of cutting , to minimize sonic deterioration at that stage. Pressings are of the finest available
virgin vinyl to assure quiet, flat surfaces and a long playing life." Shipping will be USPS priority mail.
