A gate-fold album cover has one cover on the front, and the other cover on the read. One side of the (1) record is devoted to each.

Condition: Cover in very good condition w/minor shelf wear,color fade,price sticker spot - looks nice! Vinyl is in Good-Fair condition with lots of scratches from use and a small dimple. Please See Photos.

Note: Record is from the 1970's / 80's when most belly dancers SMOKED and WORE PERFUME regularly, so those scents may be present still in records now.  Also, these records are 30-40 years old and were often produced in small numbers, many from overseas using low quality papers, so there are often NO INSIDE SLEEVES or the sleeves are damaged from age as the paper used was far from archival, so assume no inner sleeve. Thiiner paper used in 70's album covers may also cause warping of cardboard in addition to showing more shelf wear or ring wear. See photos for exact details of this particular record.

A personal memory about Bert: As a young 12-17 year old budding photographer. I had the great blessing to meet, spend off-stage and behind the scenes time around, and to photograph Bert performing at many workshops. His passion for dance and performing like a man exploding across a stage helped shape the photographer I grew into over the last 35+ years, and witnessing his fun side and wicked sense of humor helped shape the man I became a little too! One of the people you meet in life who touch a spot in your heart and never leave. Bert and another male dancer, Amir from Boston both live on in many peoples hearts long after they have gone.  

This auction is from the estate of a former pro belly dancer, teacher, and major mail order belly dance boutique owner in the 70's - early 80's. She sold records in her biz but kept many favorites for her own use, so some were used for dance practice and may show expected play wear, awhile some other records were only played a few times and then taped for practice/performances. All have been in storage for 30+ years.
