Dallas psychedelic gold 60's The Penthouse 5 & The Exotics LP Vinyl Texas Punk.
RARE Texas Punk Vol. 4 contains previously unreleased master recordings! This is one of those phenomenal " Grail" LPs !! Compiled by the great Michael Greisman. The level of care in terms of song selection and sound quality by utilizing master recordings is indicative that this LP is a labor of love. ( See Dedication) . The vinyl has only been played a few times and sounds brand new .
There are a few very small brown spots on both the front and back cover. Please see photos. There may have been a little bit of water on 1/10 of the bottom of the record. Please look at the photos carefully. The basic white generic inlay has been replaced with a mobile fidelity archival, anti-static and anti scratching inner sleeve to protect this LP.
The penthouse five and the exotics were excellent psychedelic groups located in Dallas ,Texas. All songs were remixed in July 1984 except side one songs 3 to 6 .
This album is dedicated by one of the supervisors , Bill Looney, to the memory of Richard Keathley .Bill Looney played bass guitar in the Penthouse Five. Richard Keathley played lead guitar in the Penthouse Five on songs one and three.
The penthouse five were produced by Edwin Greines Cohen while the exotics were produced by Frank Sutton and Jerry Atchley.
