ULTRA RARE EARLY BLUES!!
Record: E (Excellent) condition with some light scuffs and light scratches. NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS!! PLAY TESTED with NO SKIPS! Sounded fresh and bright. DOES need a cleaning, but I will leave that to the buyer. Truly an amazing example of this extremely RARE 78!!
Sleeve: Also in Excellent condition, and I believe this is the correct sleeve for this time period. If you think otherwise, please let me know and I will show you the other Columbia sleeve examples I have to try to find it's correct one.
I tried to take pictures from several angles to show the shine on both sides, and any marks on the surface. I have to say, this looks AND MORE IMPORTANTLY SOUNDS amazing for a 78 rpm that is 85+years old!! The 4th and 5th pictures are to show the numbers in the trail off, not to show any issues per se. IF you need more photos, let me know. I'll happily oblige!!
PACKING: The last two photos show the system I use for shipping these ultra fragile records. As you can see, I cut one of the cardboard pieces the shape of the 78, and will put the disc into that cutout to prevent sliding. The other cardboard pieces provide protection from drops and crushing. This "78 RPM sandwich" will be then secured in a record mailer. I will even put that mailer in a larger box with MORE protection. I don't want this historical piece to get broken, friends!!
SHIPPING IS FREE: US ONLY! I will ship via Priority Mail WITH insurance. All I ask is that you please document the opening process when you receive the record in case of damage. This will prove CRUTIAL in getting a refund in the event something were to happen.
