Description

The ultra rare and in demand Damon 'Song of a gypsy' LP in a limited and signed edition. Both cover and vinyl in clean, barely touched EX/EX condition. Comes with bonus 7" and bio insert. Success was nowhere in sight for David del Conte when he unleashed this overlooked private press monster, and his drug use and unreliability had much to do with that. Decades later 'Song of a gypsy' is regarded an otherworldly real deal psychedelic milestone, full of echoed vocals, fuzz leads, and hashish induced atmosphere. There are rumours that a boxful of original copies were discovered at his family's restaurant in Torrance, California before it was sold and demolished, who knows where those copies ended up.
