Description
This is a white label promo vinyl private (Wizdom label) pressing of Dance Of Life by Dan Elliot from probably 1968 or 1969 but no later. I haven't listened to this one in a while but it's so unique that it's hard to forget. I mean that in a good way. This is dreamy folk psych with a psychedelic SSW style sound to it. It has a nice flowing sound to it. There is excellent light orchestration with mostly strings & some very nice flute at times. The vocals are incredible. They're haunting & maybe a cross between Johnny Arcesia from Arcesia & Wyatt Day of Ars Nova. There is a sense of urgency in his vocals & they are wrought with emotion. This is truly an outstanding l.p. I can't even begin to find the right words to describe it but I tried. It's not quite folk & it's not quite SSW. It is psychedelic though & dreamy some of the most memorable vocals I've heard & I have well traveled ears. If I didn't have another copy in my collection I wouldn't be selling this one. I don't know if it's rare or not but it's worthy. The gatefold cover is VG(+) because of a rip in front on top, as well as seamwear. The vinyl looks nice. I flipped on a few tunes to check it out & it plays VG++ - EX. It visually looks EX-.

I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.
