Description

This is the original 1972 first pressing of Home Free (gatefold, no bar code), and two of Dan Fogelberg's earliest recordings from 1969 and 1970, when he was at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and playing at the Red Herring coffeehouse. The 1969 album "Folk Music from The Red Herring Coffeehouse Fall Folk Festival 1969" contains a studio recording of Fogelberg performing his song "The Actress and the Artist" (misspelled on the label as "Artisit"!), which was never released elsewhere, and a photo of a very young-looking Dan on the back. The 1970 "Folk Music from The Red Herring" with Fogelberg performing Hickory Grove, which later appeared in another version on Home Free.
Both of the Red Herring Coffeehouse albums are in near mint condition, and Home Free is conservatively VG+ to NM. We are the original owners and these have always been carefully handled and stored, and played on quality equipment.
See the photos for track lists of each LP. The photos are of the actual albums you will receive.
