Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Dandy Livingstone – Dandy Returns – RARE Original UK Vinyl LP album 1968.
Original UK Trojan Pressing from 1968.
MONO.
Vinyl Condition: G (Visually the record has a lot of light surface marks, scuffs and a lot of superficial scratches. It looks like its had quite a lot of plays and has a lot of visible marks. However the record plays a lot better than it looks with no sticks or jumps. The sound quality is also very good and is really enjoyable to listen to. There are some circumference marks at the start of the first track on side 1 but these do not affect the play at all and are nothing to worry about. Overall the record has a lot of marks, superficial scratches and scuffs but plays very well. There is some surface crackle and the odd click and pop in places but no sticks or jumps. A very enjoyable listen. Nice condition orange trojan labels).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Inner sleeve is a modern replacement as the original was missing).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Front laminated sleeve has some creasing around the corners and edges. The back of the sleeve has a lot of visible staining but overall the sleeve is well preserved for its age).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
