Description
This auction is for "At The Hop/Sometimes" by Danny and the Juniors - Singular Records S 711.
This is the extremely rare original pressing with blue labels. Matrix numbers are machine stamped in the dead wax; "Orchestra Directed by Artie Singer" is also on the label. Also includes the "count-in" prior to the song starting. There is another version of this with the label not listing Artie Singer on it. The rarer copy is the one WITH Artie Singer listed.
As you can see in the photos, the labels show some wear from the years of use. However, there are no stickers, no writing, etc. Mostly just wear from playing.
The vinyl visually grades G at best as there are numerous scuffs and scratches. In spite of this, it plays through with no skips (both sides). There is naturally background noise caused by these scuffs, but the B side has more background noise.
Although this is a very rare record, listing will be begin at a lower amount due to the condition.
