1977 Houston, Texas Monster from Dark Star...crude garage punk psych out, with "Spectre" comped on the great Numero Group 'Warfaring Strangers' set a few years back. Both sides are killer, sci-fi influenced loner stoner rockers from Space City. One of the endless great Texan garage 45's that should be in everyone's collection, but is nowadays pretty hard to come by, so grab it now while you can!
This copy is in VG+ shape, with some scattered faint surface scuffs and marks on the B-side that do cause a few faint clicks on the run-in and run-out grooves (those are quieter passages, and due to pressing quality all copies I've heard of this seem to have similar issues). Labels are clean, but do have some evidence of ghost stamping/ink smear that is also common on this rare 45.
