Description
Up for auction (a No Reserve Auction) is the Darkthrone "A Blaze in the Northern Sky" record. This is the hard-to-find first press, released on Peaceville/Vile in 1991. Please examine all pictures to check for authenticity. The first pressing has Nocturno Culto on the album sleeve providing a middle finger (picture #3) to the audience. Also examine for the Peaceville label logo on both the back side (picture #2 and #4) of the record, and on the record itself (picture #5). I have been careful to purchase authentic metal releases, and have learned, the hard way at times, how to avoid bootlegs. I have been an avid collector of metal since 1985, and a portion of my Death, Black & Thrash vinyl, tapes and CDs are being auctioned during the next few months (fishmetal_2007). The album "A Blaze in the Northern Sky" is real a gem of "True Norwegian Black Metal" that doesn't need explanation for it's significance to the 2nd wave of black metal circa 1991.
