Darlene of the teensRare Original OZ Promo LP released in 1957 on Disney Records. Cat:WDL3010. This album is in Mono.
These records are part of radio station 2UW's original record library. They have been in storage for the last 22 years and are finally seeing the light of day again. The LP's EP's & 45's discovered are all original 50's pressing. They were all stored in extra outer stiff cardboard covers which has helped preserve the picture sleeve covers and records which now date well over 50 years old!!! Mostly pre-rock N roll they include, Jazz, Country, Folk & 50's Pop and more.
Darlene Faye Gillespie is a former child actress, most remembered as a singer and dancer on the original The Mickey Mouse Club television series from 1955 to 1958. This was her only album release from the time featuring a mix of rock & pop with a sprinkling of rockabilly..

There are 2UW stamps on both sides of labels. Record has scuff marks and some light scratches. There are light crackles and some pops throughout. Still plays through quite nicely considering it's age. Record is in VG condition. Cover has light ring wear, a few light pen marks and age spots on back, a few light marks on front and a 2 cm seam split on bottom centre edge. Cover is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
