Comments

Darren Young is in fact Johnny Gentle. This is his only UK release as Darren & is a typical Teen sound. However, according to several websites (including Johnny Gentle official site & a Merseybeat site) John Lennon helped write the B side, although no credits appear on the label. Johnny toured Scotland with the Beatles during 1962, just before they broke through with “Love Me Do”.  Both sides are accompanied by John Barry & appear on a John Barry compilation of hits & misses. This 45 rarely turns up. Housed in an original Parlophone company sleeve.

This item is in nice condition. Unlike so many records now appearing on ebay, it has not been skimmed, polished or altered in any way. Please see my about me page.

All overseas buyers – As almost all of you will use Paypal, I have to comply with the Paypal rules & obtain signed for postage to cover myself for all eventualities.
