RARE Out-Of-Print still factory sealed MFSL 2-275 double LP set. 2006 release. 180 gram. Very low numbered . . . 580!
(Note: Although still factory sealed, there is some separation at the bottom of the jacket where the records shifted during original shipment fro Music Direct.)

Blackjack David is a phenomenal Americana blues record from former Blasters singer/songwriter/lead guitarist Dave Alvin, and everyone who has heard it has had his or her socks knocked off! An amazing storyteller, Alvin received incredible accolades for this recording including Stereophile's Record of the Month in August of 1998. It is a record of incredible depth, both sonically and lyrically. MFSL's engineers said, "When we heard the original analog master tape for the first time, everyone in the room's jaws dropped. The emotional experience of hearing what Alvin and his incredible band captured in the studio was absolutely stunning!"
