Description
Up for sale is a classic piece of jazz history: an original 6-Eye Stereo pressing of Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet (Columbia CS 8192). This benchmark collector's copy features Paul Desmond's iconic lyrical alto saxophone work on "Take Five" and Brubeck's groundbreaking experiments in unconventional time signatures like "Blue Rondo a la Turk".
Condition Notes:
Vinyl: The record retains a strong gloss with only light superficial marks. The red and black 6-Eye stereo labels are vibrant, clean, and free of spindle marks.
Sleeve: The cardboard jacket shows its history with noticeable fraying along the top seam, moderate corner wear, and standard age-related foxing and yellowing on the front and back cover. The original Steve Race liner notes on the back are completely legible.
A fantastic addition for any serious vintage jazz vinyl collector looking to experience this masterpiece in its original, high-fidelity stereo mastering.
