This is a great copy of the legendary ‘Time Out’ by The Dave Brubeck Quartet – a 1961 UK mono repress.
While ‘Take Five’ is treated by many to be a prototypical piece of elevator/lift music (the philistines), it was a great treatise of the period on non-standard time signatures; just because it’s not‘Giant Steps’ doesn’t take away from the pedigree and technique!
A highly recommended LP, both for those experiencing jazz for the first time or those who know what they like; and I’ll admit – cheesy or not, it will definitely add atmosphere to your vintage cocktail party...
This copy has a fantastic sleeve, as you can see from the pictures, and while the disc is generally speaking very clean it does have 2 noticeable marks, one of which causes some mild popping from late A2 through to early A3!
This is a great playable example of a jazz classic, so add some Brubeck to your collection on vinyl!

This is a collection being sold on behalf of a client, whom has been collecting some 50 years. It includes many 1st owner and 1st pressing items - the majority of which are EX condition records in EX/VG+ graded sleeves due to spine wear; having been stored on a shelf without plastic sleeving.
I operate the online-sales arm of a UK record shop and therefore aim to ensure accuracy in grading – I visually grade unless I can feel a mark which warrants further play-testing.
Many of the discs themselves only have very minor marks, but do have groove buildup due to not having been out in years - while I have hand-cleaned with Isopropyl solution and a microfibre (and then tested where needed), some have resulting minor background crackle and really would sound fantastic with a further session on a professional cleaning machine!
Starting-prices have been chosen competitively given Discogs and Popsike, and items will be safely packaged for postage; with discs firstly decanted into new separate inners, that inner and the sleeve then being placed in a new plastic outer sleeve and then shipped using professional grade record-mailers.
