Ich grüße Euch, Ihr hingebungsvollen Bewunderer der schwarzen Kunststoffscheiben, welche einmal in Drehung versetzt, erhabene Klänge von sich geben, wenn ein Schwert aus reinem Kohlenstoff sanft aufgesetzt die eingepflügte Rille schnell durchschreitet. Na gut, alles klar - ich kann Euch beruhigen. Genau wie Ihr ziehe ich mir nur Vinyl rein, und das nicht zu knapp. Meine bevorzugte Musikrichtung ist Progressive / Psychedelic, aber erstmal erfreue ich Euch in den nächsten Wochen mit einer größeren Jazz - Auktion.

Schallplatten – Einstufung (Platte und Hülle):

Mein Einstufungssystem unterscheidet sich möglicherweise etwas von den in Zeitschriften und Katalogen verwendeten Systemen. Ich verwende eine starke Lampe zum Überprüfen der Schallplatten; dadurch kann der Kunde besser beurteilen, was ihm angeboten wird.

Still Sealed: Platte ist in Plastikfolie eingeschweißt (Folie muß beschädigt werden, um die Platte aus der Hülle zu nehmen)

Mint: perfekter Zustand, gespielt oder sogar ungespielt

Mint - : fast perfekter Zustand, gespielt

Vg++ : sehr guter Zustand, leichte oberflächliche Spuren, so gut wie keine Abspielgeräusche

Vg+ : guter Zustand, gebrauchtes Exemplar, mehrere leichte Gebrauchsspuren, ab und zu leichtes Knistern

Vg : erträglicher Zustand, deutliche Gebrauchsspuren, häufiges Knistern, keine Hänger oder Springer

Vg- : in Sammlerkreisen ein wirklich schlechtes Exemplar, starke Gebrauchsspuren, tiefe Kratzer möglich, Hänger oder Springer möglich

Record Grading (to be used for record and cover)

My personal grading system may differ from the official grading systems used in fanzines and catalogues. I am using a strong bulb to check records as serious as possible, because I want the customer to know what he is offered.

Still Sealed: cover is in complete shrink wrap (record can not be taken out without breaking seal)

Mint: perfect, played or unplayed

Mint-: nearly perfect, played

Ex (vg++): Great condition, superficial signs of use possible but don´t affect play

Vg+: good condition, used copy, some signs of use, light crackling sometimes

Vg: reasonable copy, obvious signs of use, crackling most of the time, no skips or jumps

Vg-: a really bad copy in the world of collectors, strong signs of use, deep scratches possible, skips or jumps possible
