DAVE CLARK 5. 45 rpm vinyl record. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Clean labels, but some wrinkles in paper. Super Great Collectable. From USA. 1971. Epic 5-10704. YELLOW labels, not White PROMO labels. THE LAST 10 DC5 USA Epic singles 1968-1972 were all non-million sellers and the group was fading from relevancy but the songs were mostly great ( except Please Stay), but finding them on “stock” YELLOW labels got harder. By the end some were near impossible to find with Yellow labels, easier to find with White Promo labels. Since nobody bought or played the stock Yellow Epic DC5 records they are usually EX or NM ( a rating I never use). All these YELLOW Epics are hard to find. SOUTHERN MAN is a great cover of the Neil Young written and sung hit. But I think this version is better, more Mike Smith soul and less Neil Young Folk! IF YOU WANNA SEE ME CRY is yet another classic Clark-Smith penned DC5-sounding track like fifty others on their LPs. I’ve only seen this YELLOW label 45 a few times in 10 years searching. Both sides STEREO. Super copy. See photos, actual record. Common white sleeve. I will include appropriate half black half yellow Epic sleeve if purchased at Buy it Now price.
