This is an extremely rare (try and find another one!) record on an extremely rare label by the absolutely brilliant Folk Artist Dave Evans from 1971.  For those wanting to know more about him or hear an extract of his brilliance listen to him play on You Tube.

It is difficult to give an overall grading of this LP because the vinyl is clean fresh shiny and mint with no wear around the spindle hole, just take a look at the picture.  The sleeve is in generally Excellent condition but does have a nibble in the top left corner which knocks it down to a Very Good plus in my eyes though it has no other creases or bumps or spine wear and only a little general wear.  Overall I would say the record and sleeve together come out as an Excellent.

I can't let this go cheaply so am starting it at a higher than usual price such is its rarity.

This is from my personal collection and if it was played it was cossetted on a Linn Sondek deck with a Grace arm and Supex SD900E cartridge.

Record Gradings

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
