Dave Mason "Alone Together".  Superb marble vinyl and fold out cover.

As a collector of colored, marble, and splatter vinyl, I believe it is hard to find marble vinyl this beautiful.  

The disc vinyl appears to be mint/near mint.  No spindle marks, some slight label wear, but really very excellent label. (Never played by me, so no play grade to offer.) (See photos.)

As with most of the covers for this fine 1970 three fold album cover, the cover shows lots of wear. (Examine all photos before bidding.)  This fold out cover would be tough to keep in perfect shape without opening it, but I think everyone who owned it, opened it.

This cover has a hole punch. (See photos.)

Really great album.  A fine addition to any Dave Mason or marbled vinyl collection.  I bought many of these over the years looking for a pristine copy.  Hard to find, but because of that search, I have a few pretty good copies to sell now.

Here's the deal with all the Dave Mason marble vinyl I have sold...

Years ago, I purchased about 20 of them.  I had a picture framing business at the time, and since this marble vinyl is one of the most beautiful I had seen (I like to collect colored, marble and splatter vinyl), I thought this would be a good album to frame.  That didn't pan out, but in the process I got a near perfect copy for my collection.

This past 1/2 year, I decided to sell my extra ones.  I have sold most of them.  I now have four left.

Most of the ones I sold were listed at $20.  The vinyl was excellent to near mint for most of them.  Most with very good labels, some with minor spindle wear.  Most of the covers had lots of wear, as this album is from 1970, and with the three fold cover, it was opened a lot, plus a lot of bad shipping, which caused more damage. (That's why I only ship in new Bags Unlimited Mighty Mailers, designed specifically for shipping vinyl.)

I have one more at $20. (THIS LISTING).


I have two that I am selling at $10 each.  (Both of these have now been sold.)   For these two, the vinyl is still excellent, but the labels are not as nice as the ones I sold at $20. But they are a good start for someone who wants a copy of this album, while they search for a better one. (Like I did 15 to 20 years ago.)

Finally, the one listed for $50 is one that was as nice as the one I kept for myself, disc and cover almost perfect, but unfortunately, when I received it many years ago, it got damaged a bit in shipping.  (Not too bad though, as shown in the photos. That's why I only ship in new Bags Unlimited Mighty Mailers, designed specifically for shipping vinyl.)  But it's the best one I am selling by far, so it's at a bit of a higher price.
