Dave Mason Alone Together Splash Vinyl NM First Pressing 1970 1A!

Anybody who bought the first pressing of this LP upon its release remembers the delight at seeing it for the first time.  The donkey puke splash vinyl is iconic.  It was decades before I realized that it was supposed to match the rocky face album cover.

Vinyl--- NM.  Looks brand new.

Plates--- 1A/ 1A

Cover--- Excellent. For anybody who owned this album for more than a year, you’ll remember how the die-cuts in the cover would easily tear.  Many covers have frayed flaps that disintegrated over the years.  This cover still has sharp cuts, gorgeous graphics and fully intact panels.  The gatefold is sturdy and strong.  Spine has some central wear, beginnings of a split.  Very light record outdent inside the gatefold, as well as light ringwear.

Has the “Camoutlage Productions” misprint on the inside gatefold.  See photo.

Labels--- Excellent.  Both labels have faint ringwear around the playhole.  Photos are exaggerated in order to get them to show.  In person, they are hardly noticeable unless you put your nose right up to them.

Inner Sleeve--- Issued in a generic white inner sleeve.  A second sleeve will be provided so as not to damage your original inner sleeve en route.

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!) 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
