These were Rare interviews with wild man David Allan Coe himself . The interview weaves David’s stories with his music and other country music that was popular at the time. Does not include the radio station cue sheets. Included the transcript here after listening to both sides.

David talks about his comedy side, adults only albums he sells through mail order, being in prison with Richard Pryor in Ohio in the 60s, story about Tanya Tucker, meeting Mel Tillis and rhinestone suits and hearses, writing 5 notebooks of songs in prison, how his record deal came about, seeing Ronnie Milsap playing, winning awards in Sweden and Holland for Tennessee Whiskey.
