Description

The third in the series of Bowie’s retrospective box sets and possibly the most important. Covering the Berlin period and it’s immediate aftermath, the set includes the classic Berlin trio of Low, Heroes and Lodger along with the commercial rebirth of Scary Monsters as well as supporting live albums, remixes and compilations bringing together non LP material. Included are:

Each album is a facsimile of the original meaning that sleeves are reproduced to look and feel as an original, including all of the relevant inserts and inners. Even in the case of original plain white inners, these are reproduced while the vinyl is housed in a separate poly lined inner.
The book itself is something to behold, reproducing contemporary reports alongside new appraisals along with rare photographs including sleeve prototypes and ideas etc. 
This is the first edition of this box with the first pressing of ‘Heroes’. During the title track there is a slight drop in volume, it’s almost imperceptible unless you’re listening for it nevertheless the resultant outpouring of outrage led the label to reissue the album with the volume artificially adjusted. That’s the version that’s currently available.
This weighs 8kg and will be mailed in the original bespoke box with supporting foam. UK postage is £7.00, Europe £28 and USA/ROW £80.
