David Bowie BLACKSTAR Lithographs - Set of Three - New and Unused - Imperfect / Damaged in Shipping
Not offering the clear vinyl LP or any other format of Blackstar music in this listing, only the prints
All three limited edition lithographs are being sold as a set: "Graphic" - "Proton-Proton Chain" - "Equation"
I preordered these three prints from davidbowie.com along with with a clear copy of the Blackstar vinyl. I have original receipts for purchase of prints from Bowie's webstore. I am also currently offering a sealed copy of the Barnes & Noble Edition of Blackstar on clear vinyl in a separate auction.
-This set of prints was unfortunately damaged by the shipper en route to my address. Details about how damage was incurred are detailed above. I have nevertheless stored them properly in their mailing tube since I took receipt of them in January of 2016. I was considering framing, but other projects interceded.
-Damage to each of the prints is limited to the left border of each, and within less than a centimeter of the edge in all instances. Smudging on the print backs is larger than the 1cm border but not detectable on front side.
Here is the specific locations of damage on each of the three prints. They appear in the photo gallery for the listing in the same order as described here:
- "Graphic": bends and intermittent discoloration over 2" of the left middle; Similar bend approx. 2" inches from bottom, over a 1" segment. - "Proton-Proton Chain": Essentially the same as "Graphic" but somewhat less pronounced and almost no discoloration. - "Equation": Several small bends in middle 1.5" of left side. No bend towards bottom left as is the case with the previous two. Blemish is almost undetectable when viewed from front. Smudging and creasing in same area of back as with the other two.
