David Bowie - CHANGESONEBOWIE - Withdrawn UK version - MEGA RARE.
This is the very first pressing of Bowie's ‘best of’ compilation LP (1976). When it was originally released, it was quickly realised that the saxophone version of ‘John I’m Only Dancing' had been included (rather than the guitar version that was intended for this compilation), so all unsold copies were recalled and the ‘correct’ version containing the guitar version, was released.
It is estimated that under 500 copies were bought prior to the recall with this being one of those rare versions. The only way to tell if the ‘sax’ version is on the album is to play it as there are no running times printed anywhere on the record or sleeve.
