Up untill a few years ago the only people who knew this existed were those who back in 1967 were cool enough to walk into a record shop and buy it !And that is in NEW ZEALAND ONLY !

Only a handful are thought to exist !

Description :

The sleeve differs to the UK and German releases of this LP  but is by far the SUPERIOR variety ! Darker in colour than the UK stereo and Mono sleeves also darker than the German .

It is also the superior laminated front None laminated rear , "Flipback" sleeve . The Flipbacks design are more hardwearing and also look better .

It also has the croped picture of David on the back to allow room for the NZ his masters voice copyrite warning and the High fidelity info Below the shot of Bowie .

The spine is immaculate and in superb order and the sleeve is a very strong VERY GOOD ++ and would be mint if it were not for the split at the top of the sleeve (thumbsize  and visable in the pictures ) . As you can see this split does not spoil the appearance of the look of the record because of where it is and its so small !

The record labels are beautifully clean with no marks at all .

Made in New Zealand across the top the STEREO wrote much bolder than on all other issues of this LP then DREAM , the labels are superb !

The record on visual inspection looks flawless even unplayed but pay ATTENTION here !

There is and this is the only fault on this LP , there is a slight warp toward the outside edge of the LP .The result of this warp is there is a woof sound that can be heard on the tracks Uncle Arthur , it subsides more during Sell me a coat , and if you turn the volume up it drowns the interfearance out almost completely .

The woofing noise is less on the other side but it does effect The little Bombardier (first half) if you turn it up loud it drowns out the woofing of the warp and its not as bad as on the other side . After those shortcommings the LP plays flawlessly throughout !

So overall condition very good + .

But this item....Look at it . When a rare oppertunity to aquire a gem like this arrises the chance of owning it , transends the condition .

Hey Schlaf forgot to mention the rear of the South African  philips sleeve is unusually white but more importantly , it was never put out on general relese to the public .In terms of rarety ,

This item is getting steady traffic and theres 86 people watching this and theres over 5 days left . Yes I know many of them are "tyre kickers" but I know many collectors want this item . Wich leads me to a valid point as to why I could not keep this private as you requested !

  This record is a newly discoverd collectable ,totally "NEW TO THE MARKET" now what that means is NOBODY knows what it is worth ! The so called experts (WHO DID NOT KNOW THIS HAD EVER BEEN MADE , UNDOCUMENTED) . Those experts may have opinions but opinions are like butt holes , EVERYBODYS got one !

 We will only know the value of this . I mean the TRUE VALUE, when it is as well known a piece as , the Gennitles cover , the Dress cover , The German roundcover or indeed any of the more commonly known Bowie collectables , the Philips 69 etc.
