Description

An original 1st USA press of Heroes on RCA from 1977. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Sterling'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover - please note there is a deletion cut/punch in the top-left corner. Also included is the original lyric sheet inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Very nice clean player and there's little to find fault with. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments, and then just a couple of very brief 1-second bursts of interference in the opening section of V-2 Schneider. Other than that we are talking one very solid and impressive rendition.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow - someones taken real care with this cover..it looks like it was printed yesterday. The front looks great with a lovely sheen to it and no signs of wear. Please make note of the deletion cut in the top-left as previously mentioned. The rear is equally good and nigh on perfect. Edge wear is almost completely absent apart from 0.5 c.m. at the bottom opening. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and this is largely thanks to a nice heavy card construction. What an example!!
