AT THE TIME OF LISTING THIS IS CURRENTLY THE *ONLY* COPY ON EBAY OF THIS RARE COVER!
Here is your chance to own this exceptionally clean copy of Bowie's classic 'Heroes/V-2 Schneider' which is a 7" 45rpm German pressing, but unlike the popular 'Helden' version with colour cover (PB 9168), this is sung in English language. LOW STARTING PRICE. This example with mono picture cover is in superb Near Mint condition for its age. It has been owned exclusively by me since I bought it in 1977. I am always fair and accurate with my descriptions — check my feedback.
The disc itself is in genuine Near Mint condition and a features orange GEMA labels with standard-size small centre. There are barely any of the usual very light hairline marks made from removing the single from its sleeve. The vinyl is bright, glossy and clean with zero scratches or misting and no spindle wear. There is a little rumble or hiss in the quiet sections if played loud.
The thin card sleeve is in Near Mint condition. There are a few minor creases but none which break the surface. There is almost imperceptible foxing or pressure rings. There is a line of sun yellowing along the top edge (see pics 1 and 2).
AUCTION IS UK ONLY. From a smoke and pet free home. If payment is received before 1pm, it will be despatched same day (weekdays only). Disc will be in an anti-static bag removed from the inner sleeve, sandwiched between the sleeve and two pieces of stiff fluted double-wall card.
