Description

The second, and best (maybe) of Bowie's 'Berlin' trilogy (Low, Heroes, Lodger).  This was when he and Eno needed to get away and be reborn -- Bowie from all the cocaine in LA and Eno from the burnout of Roxy Music/801.  With 'Heroes' these two hit the slipstream, and created one of the most revolutionary, amazing, influential, and timeless albums ever.  Yeah, I said it. Condition:

  • Vinyl: VG (6/10). Visual grading is subjective, but this ... doesn't look good.  There are scuffs, the vinyl is dull, and there are superficial scratches on both sides.  Definitely not something to put in a frame and hang on your wall.  But then again, you want to listen to this, right?  So see Play, below.
  • Jacket: VG+ (7/10) Surprisingly good, considering the appearance of the vinyl. Corner wear, edge wear, and some scuff on the back, but no seam splitting, tears, or other mutilations.
  • Play: VG+ (7/10): Bad news first -- this isn't pristine .There is some faint noise between some songs and other sonic intrusions. But the good news is there's absolutely no skips or sibiliance, and the background noise is really very minor. Yeah, it's there, but no, it isn't distracting at all, and it's really only audible between songs.
