Description
An original UK 1st press of Hunky Dory on the RCA label. Matrix 3T/3T. Etching 'Bobil/Rasputin'. Glossy labels, no references to 'Main Main'...publishing credits are Titanic [indicative of 1st issue].
Matrix and stampers:
Side 1: 3T A1AJ
Side 2: 3T A1AA
Cover (Vg+) In decent condition. There are a few creases at the edges, but nothing that significant. there's a bit of handling wear. Edge wear is light but at no point is it worn through. Overall the cover still retains good rigidity. There is a small mark on the rear at the top right of the handwritten text. Original RCA inner is in very good condition, no seam splits or tears. The original insert is missing.
Vinyl (Vg+) In good shape. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks either side. On side 2 there are a few noticeable marks that produce a few passages of ticks, most notable during 'Andy Warhol'. No sticks or jumps. So, please do not expect a mint looking record. There is static in a few places that is audible more so in the quieter tracks. The previous owner has written their name on the label of side 1.
Please examine photos carefully before buying.
