Please check out my auction listings, I have some rare and foreign Bowie singles on this week. DESCRIPTION: David Bowie- Hunky Dory. 1ST UK pressing with glossy orange RCA labels, correct white inner and 3T/3T matrix. Unlaminated sleeve and Insert. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA SF8244 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and some light hairlines. Played majority today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much excellent. It has an occasional light tick but thats about it. Music is clear, clean and loud. Cover is in nice shape and is very near to EX. It is firm and square. It has only light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Insert is also Ex or veery near with light wear, no tears and maybe 55 or 6 light foxing spots. Really clean glossy RCA labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Overall a really clean sounding and complete 1st UK pressing of one of Bowies greatest LPs. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP.. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
