David Bowie Hunky Dory LP UK 1st Press **Bobil/Rasputin** SUPER AUDIO!

This is a great copy of Hunky Dory, and priced very well, if it was mint it would be at least double the price,

This is the most desirable version of Hunky Dory after the mega expensive and rare Laminated Cover copy

Matrix 3T/3T. Etchings "Bobil/Rasputin" - this is indicative of very earliest pressing. Yes, it has the early Titanic publishing credit - but it's those etchings that identify the very earliest copies. The earliest copies have lovely shiny labels and are pressed really heavy [so, more than one reason to go for them].


I test play all my vinyl on my Project Essential deck and it plays and sounds really great , no sticks or jumps. There are a few clicks and a bit of surface noise at various various points

The Vinyl still has a great gloss but there are a few marks on the record but on the whole it still sounds totally magic. The heavy pressed deep grooved first pressings are built to last and they always deliver on playback, they sound like no other..

The Vinyl labels are very good.

The original inner lyric sheet is in very good condition. Only fault bei g a pinhole on the top right..

The album cover is also in very good condition

Hunky Dory covers do not age well, they are 50 years old after all but this cover is strong rigid and sturdy with perfect seams!

The cover has a bit of ring wear and some buffing on the corners

The Spine is in fair condition and still readable

The rear of the cover is also in great condition and is very clean  most importantly it's still nice and white and hasn't got discoloured and dirty like most others.

This copy of Hunky Dory has plenty of life left in it

I've priced it very competitively. Look at the others available for far far more.. Are they much better than mine?..

Sorry for the long winded description but I feel it's important to get as much detail as possible for anyone interested.

I wouldn't buy an album with a 3 line description. Maybe works for some folk. But not me.
