This listing is for the following LP:
David Bowie - Hunky Dory. RCA SF8244, England, 1971.
Very rare 1st pressing with laminated cover, shiny labels crediting Chrysalis/Titanic, not Mainman and the following matrix info: Side 1: APRS 5947-3T Bobil, Side 2: 5948-3T Rasputin.
The vinyl has widespread surface marks which produce the odd scratch with clicking. There is crackle to a degree in most tracks - some play better than others (Life On Mars, Kooks, Quicksand, Queen Bitch), others sound ok in the louder sections but crackly in the quiet parts. I noticed two jumps - 1 in 'Changes' and 1 in 'Eight Line Poem'.
The cover has splitting down the spine and widespread creasing. There is also discolouration to the back.
All in all this would best be thought of as a 'shelf-filler' copy although given the rarity it is still a desirable item which I'm sure some Bowie fan might want to own.
