Description
This is a rare and highly collectable early 1970's New Zealand repress vinyl that appeared after the original release date with corrected artwork, probably 1972 or '73. The first pressing featured the rear side on both front and back.
On the cover it notes it was manufactured by PYE Record Manufacturing Division, Auckland, New Zealand. The A-Side Runout is stamped: APRS 5947 4S & the B-Side Runout is stamped: APRS 5948 2S.
The record has a fair number of marks and scuffs on it but it sounds good and plays quite nicely aside from some surface noise and one skip on 'Changes' and 'Oh You Pretty Things', plus five skips in the first half of 'Fill Your Heart'.
The cover is in okay condition but has noticeable ring wear, weathered upper and lower edges (the lower also having a small split to it). It has a split spine and it is unfortunately missing the original inner lyric sheet.
However it features an original attractive black and silver retail sticker from Direction Record Shops, 20 Swanson Street, Auckland. The inner sleeve is a more modern plastic one to protect the record.
