b/w Restless. This is quite an extraordinary item for the Bowie collector. Kenny Miller's recording of Take My Tip has its place in rock history as the very first David Bowie-penned song to ever be released! It even came out before Bowie's own version, on Parlophone, that same year. The label clearly records the author as Davie Jones (this was two years before he changed his name). Produced by legendary Who engineer, Shel Talmy, who also worked on many of David Bowie's early mod singles. Record comes in a company sleeve and is in a strong EX condition. There are some light surface marks on both sides, but nothing to mar its overall clean look. Plus, both sides play just fine on my equipment. Both labels are clean and free of any marks and the original centre is intact too. This doesn't come up for sale very often at all - so don't miss out on this true blue Bowie collectable!
