David Bowie – Labyrinth Original Soundtrack Vinyl LP – Very Good Condition – sounds great - particularly Bowie tracks
EMI America AML 3104
Now quite a rare LP from the Original Soundtrack of the Jim Henson Film with Original Score by Trevor Jones and tracks written and sung by Bowie.
Features David Bowie’s outstanding vocals on 6 fabulous tracks. Some of the best tracks I think he’s recorded - Side 2 Underground is awesome with an almost gospel feel to it.
Record Vinyl
Very Good Condition but mostly sounds and plays as excellent and in some case as new. There are some surface/scuff marks but these don’t affect play.
Bowie Tracks
These sound great - only occasional static or surface noise in quiet sections – usually just at start and end.
Additional Vinyl Notes:
· The vinyl has some areas, with discolouration marks, but they don’t appear to affect the play at all.
· There is a curved scuff mark across one track – see photo - but this does not affect play and I certainly can’t hear it even at high volume.
Not sure how but happy to play the LP over the phone to prove what a great listen it is – I’m confident you’ll be impressed - maybe just the Bowie tracks to save time.
Instrumentals
There’s some light surface noise and occasional crackles at reasonably high volumes – see additional notes below next to tracks for other details.
Record Cover
In reasonable condition considering age but annoyingly the previous own stuck a rectangular label on the right hand side of the front and tried to remove some of it, which has also removed some of cover – see photo of cover, with notations. There are some creases – one about 5 and half inches more noticeable on rear.
I bought the record however for the Bowie songs and couldn’t care about the cover.
