An original 1964 MASTERPIECE on Vocalion Pop labels by David Bowie
And now comes the gem of the week: You are bidding on the very first and extremely rare David Bowie UK single from 1964 on Vocalion Pop labels :
The real MASTERPIECE!!! Record is in near mint condition having being played only a few timesOnly 3-4 surface marks are visibleon the vinyl that should not affect the sound. Complete with original centror. A Must for all Bowie collectors and fans. First ever single on Vocalion, reference Nr V.9221, released in 1964 and stored for more than 40 years in a private collection. Recorded under the name of Davie Jones with the KING BEES (in honour to my friend Marshall!), with machine engraved/stamped matrix number, see scans (the bootleg has no centror and matrix number is hand engraved). This copy is EX-NM.
